·         Comparative Drive Test and Optimization Project  for Digicel French West Indies, i.e Martinique, Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin, Saint Barthelemy and Guyana.

·         Collecting data from 5 Telecom Operators (Digicel, Only, Orange, UTS and Amigo) with 2 technologies, GSM and UMTS (WCDMA) using TEMS Investigation 9.0.

·         Analyzing Log files to identify the areas of poor coverage, cross feeder cables (or sector swap), overshooting and network quality. As well double check some WCMDA parameters setting such as SIR, UTRA Carrier RSSI, CPICH, SQI (uplink and downlink), SHO.

·         Evaluating and analyzing key performance indicators (KPI) such as Call Success Rate,  Dropped Call Rate, Origination Calls Failures, Handover Failures, Location Area Update Failure, and other network statistics based on the amount of data collected in idle and traffic mode.

RF Planning & Optimization Engineer (Using Ericsson System)    08/2007- 07/2009 

·         RF Design, Planning and Optimizing cell sites for Digicel Radio Network. Involved in Optimization activities, tuning parameters, KPI reports, and find coverage holes and do Benchmarking. This activity continues every quarter of the year to upgrade, make a whole study of the available resources, the Quality of Service (QoS) and improve the performance of the radio network.

·         Conduct Drive Tests for Optimization and analysing data and corrective actions to maximize radio coverage; and Analyze the data and making reports to do changes in cell sites (neighbor list updating, antenna orientation, tilting, repeaters, and power calibrations).

·         Report the worst performing cells list with problem description (analysis) and action-plans for BSC in terms of TCH Drop, SDCCH Drop, CSSR, HO, Congestion on a weekly basis.

·         Perform physical parameters site tuning (EDT, MDT, Azimuth, and antenna height, propagation modeling, new site and Expansion site Surveys, Network Redesign, assigning sites for characterization, Cell Sites selection and Candidate’s evaluation, antenna selection.

·         Perform Tuning parameters for network improvement such as Parameter and Features/Technology like: Edge/GPRS, GSM, AMR, Power control, NR, HO, CLS, etc, in order to comply the targeted KPIs thresholds for CDR (call dropped rate),  CSSR (call setup success rate),  HO,  BLK (blocking: TCH and SDCCH congestion).

·         Optimize customer complaints areas.

·         Prepare CDD & Configuration Sheet for new cell sites ready for integration, and RNO (NCS, FAS, FAS_ICDM, FOX, MRR, etc)
